When Jesus called His disciples, He called them first into the mountain; to be with Him. Preaching and delivering came afterwards. Their main priority was always spending time alone with their Lord, learning at His feet. Jesus called us to be with him, too. He needs us to preach His Word and minister to His people. But, if we don't spend time alone with Him on the mountain, we will be unequipped to do His bidding. Our first and foremost priority should always be time alone with our Lord."... Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." Mark 6:31
