But Satan the “serpent” deceived them to eat the forbidden fruit. And because they both ate, God drove them out of the Garden of Eden—the place they called home.

Man began to multiply, as God wanted it. But it grieved God that he created man, when he saw that man’s wickedness was great on the earth and his thought was evil all the time. And God decided to destroy the earth with water. Only Noah found favor from God, because he was righteous. And after that, God blessed man to be fruitful and multiply. Was it for another destruction? Or so that man would not live to enjoy his days?

I will not make mention of Sodom and Gomorrah—cities that God destroyed with fire. Because not even ten righteous men were found there. This small place we call home would still be destroyed. What the earth has never experienced in time past would suddenly befall it. How terrible it will be on that day! And I don’t pray to experience it. That will be God’s final judgment on this world—a place we call home. A place where both the young and the old will go to have their shelter after the day’s work. And our final resting place.

Should we then call God, the creator, a destroyer and a killer of man’s joy? He creates and destroys. What should we now call him? Name it!

No. Don’t call him names. For he is a Proper Planner. He has a purpose for everything under the heavens. I think in the case of Adam and Eve, the garden was safe. He only made them to have freewill. And to make a choice between life and death. For he will not force man to choose against his will and desires.

And in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah—places where men slept with men and where other horrible things went on, it was worth destruction.

In the new heavens and the new earth, God will wipe away all tears from the eyes of men and women. And there would be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain—the former things would not be remembered. Then everything shall be made new and perfect. And that Satan, the deceiver, will finally be destroyed.

And then we shall call this earth, a home.
